This standard verifies and certifies the production processes with checks during the working phases, from raw materials, to products in progress and finished products, checking the levels of noxious chemical substances contained in the garments which have to comply with the parameters set by the same standard. This standard is the standard reference parameter in many European countries. This particular attention to quality has also been recognised by a recent survey by "Altroconsumo" which carried out laboratory tests on pyjamas, destined to children aged 0 to 4-5 years, sold in supermarkets and other big stores and in specialised stores for children.
